Love You

The man in front of me still spinning in circles turning round and round like the merry go round it made me dizzy just watching him those rapid movements he made just made my heart beat faster and faster for something I couldn’t get out of my mind but couldn’t remember something would make me remember I was sure of that my eyes start to water a bit and I blink a few times making sure to snap myself out of that trance there is no one in front of me and no one around me just the empty streets I move on forget the movement

I walk down the street towards my house the moon is full and the light from the round glowing ball lights the street as if it were day stars sparkle in the sky above me giving me sings and making me see the path to follow I hear the faint sounds of a piano playing Moonlight Sonata my ears leave my body to go and find the music I want to follow them to find out where it is coming from I stop in the middle of the street my pinky finger digs into my ear to clear out some yellow crude that blocks my hearing the music fades slowly from my mind I flick the wax on my finger somewhere in that light filled street I make sure to snap myself out of another trance I move on I remember something forget the music

I make it all the way to my house my apartment really I fumble the keys a few times in my hands as the front door of the complex opens I walk by an old man who lives three floors above me we exchange nods with each other before I make it to the stairs leaning against the wall and looking up the steps in front of me I start up them and before long my front door looks me in the eyes the keys almost leap from my hands as I unlock the door and go inside the scent of cooked lasagna still drifts through the room from the dinner earlier there is a faint smell or cologne in at the air as well I close my eyes and take a deep breath that reminds me about him I cough a few times from taking too deep of a breath choking on the air the last cough snaps me out of one more trance I remember a detail forget the smells

the long hall before me leads me to my room my hands run over the walls in the hall before I come to the door with a push it opens in front of me and I take a step inside my shoes kick off from my feet and I take my shirt and pants off the moon shines through the half open window allowing me to look at my body in the large mirror hanging above the dresser I can’t help but think how cute I look standing there my hands run up and down my chest and stomach the smooth skin is very much a joy for me to touch I turn away from the mirror as I remember touch no longer do I forget

a small fight earlier that evening a walk outside in the moon fixes everything I suddenly get cold standing there in my boxers I climb into bed and get under the covers quickly becoming warm my arms wrap around my boyfriend who lays underneath the sheets already I hear him make a few noises and we both reply with saying sorry to each other at the same time I lick the back of his neck press my nose into his skin my hands move up and down his smooth body I remember how good life is as he turns around to face me we kiss and I look into his eyes and smile I remember everything we kiss long and deep
